I recently stayed at South Wind Unit 508 for a winter work event, and despite the chilly weather in Myrtle Beach, it was a fantastic weekend! The stunning sunrises from our spacious wrap-around balcony were a highlight, and we even spotted dolphins in the afternoon.

The condo is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, featuring three king beds and one queen—hard to find for accommodating adults. The mattresses and furnishings appeared new, ensuring a comfortable stay.

We didn’t have time to enjoy the indoor pool and jacuzzi, but the outdoor pool area was lovely and conveniently located near the beach. South Wind Unit 508 is a great choice year-round, and I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to return!

This was our fourth time to spend a week at Southwind. We had a great time. The condo is perfect for our family of 11. Only complaint would be that it might be time to replace the mattress in the master bedroom. The one we slept on was pretty bad.

Perfect: clean, roomy, wrap around porch, beach chairs, all amenities. This was the perfect home for a vacation group of 10 women on a family reunion. The best compliment I can give is this: The day we left, we booked again for next year!

Beautiful condo and location!!!
Absolutely gorgeous 5 bedroom condo!!! Very updated and beautifully decorated. We have been to several places where the pictures don’t represent what we walk into, but in this case it is exactly what you see in the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week, easy keypad access to the condo, wrap around balcony with amazing views, plenty of comfortable family room seating, and more than enough kitchen seating. We didn’t have small children with us, but if you do they even had a pack & play and high chair so no need to pack that along. Also had several family games to play at night! One other plus, there are several extra bed pillows if you need them. I am always frustrated with the 2 flat pillows that are provided...not here! Several on each bed and then more packed away in each closet. It was a very quiet and peaceful location. We had the beach and pool to ourselves, and everything was always so clean in the common areas. We will definitely be back again to this exact condo!!!

The condo was beautiful. It was clean, the large roomy kitchen and living area accommodated the 13 of us with no problem. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the great view of the ocean and pool. Nice kitchen area as well.

For a most part it was a very nice place and we really enjoyed it. But on Friday we were just sitting around and trying to talk to one another since some of us had not seen each other in a while. The workers upstairs were making the loudest noise from 10 to 12:30 and then they must have went to lunch because it started again around 2.

Wish we had a few more days in the condo. The space was great for our large group. the location on the beach and in the myrtle beach area was perfect. Everyone loved the balcony. The condo was clean. Furniture was a bit worn however i am sure it can be difficult to keep up with renters staying back to back over a period of time. The building was very attractive and we loved the combo door lock. Great feature vs. a key.
Luxury rentals were very responsive to my questions and we would rent the space again if given the opportunity.

This was such a great place for our family. There were 5 bedrooms with plenty of room for everyone. The location couldn’t have been any better. Close to everything, including the Ripken Experience which we were there for, watching college baseball. The beds were super comfortable and I loved the pillows. The facilities were clean and we felt safe staying here. I loved having a code for the door so we could all come and go as we pleased and never had to worry about the key. The views were spectacular. 5th floor was just right. Not too high or too low. Such easy access to the beach. The only problem was the weather was soooo cold, we had to wear winter jackets! But we had a nice coat rack right at the door.

Fall vacation
Unit was very spacious..we had 9 in our party(3 kids& sometimes more)& the kids had plenty of room to do their own thing. Everything was very clean& the kitchen was well equipped. Pool & beach access was very convenient. Had a great time! Thx Karla!

It was easy and even when Covid hit they were very accomadating to change the date to 2021. The weather was not the greatest and the water was cool this week but, the view and shopping were great. We enjoyed or stay and wished we did not have to leave so soon.

This is a perfect condo for our family of 8!! easy access to the beach (super clean beach), super clean condo, very response staff via text service, clean pool and whirlpool. So close to all the great things about MB without the noise, very calm and quiet a night. perfection!

Great view and short walk to the beach. Multiple pools and hot tubs, including the lazy river. Rental was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms had plenty of towels/wash clothes. All rooms were over sized and private. Had beach chairs, toys and boards for the family to use. Most definitely would stay again and recommend. Hosts were awesome and responsive

Everything was clearly communicated and ran smoothly. The unit itself was fantastic. Large space and beautiful views! The only thing was they were re-doing the indoor pool so the ceiling tiles were off and it looked quite rundown. We expect once it's finished it would be wonderful.

Overall great experience. The unit needs more bath towels for such a big unit, we did not have enough for everyone staying. The facility could also use a few more floats for the lazy river. Otherwise great experience.
